Go behind the scenes with Jessica Ashley, our Miss June 2014, on the set of her retro-fitted Centerfold shoot with photographer Sasha Eisenman. A pert brunette from Detroit, Michigan, Jessica has an English degree and a rather literary, wandering mind “ and she may seem shy at first, but in front of the camera, shes no shrinking violet. Scott Cope from Playboy TV discovered me on Facebook, says Jessica. He told me I should test for Playmate, so I flew to California “ and a week later, I was here, shooting the Centerfold. Eisenman and his team set her up at John Lautners Rainbow House in the Hollywood Hills, where she was given the full summer Playmate treatment. The house itself was very colorful and playful, muses Jessica. We went for a retro seventies look. I got to shoot all over the house “ in the bedroom, the shower and in the pool. I had a lot of fun with it! Beautiful and natural, with dark brown hair and dusky skin, Jessica is reminiscent of such classic Playmates as Sylvie Garant, Phyllis Coleman and especially Linda Forsythe, with a thoroughly and delightfully modern flair. Ive done some pretty sexy photoshoots, but this was my first time posing nude, says Jessica. It all felt so natural to me.
