This hard-boiled and offbeat gangster effort stars Mickey Rourke as a hopeless jazz musician who escapes an attempt on his life and, while hanging out at a carnival, falls for a beautiful sideshow attraction (Megan Fox) who has a set of actual wings. Rourke frees Fox from her confines, only to run afoul of local kingpin Bill Murray, who sees her as his own money-making property. Kelly Lynch and Rhys Ifans co-star. 94 min.
